1:1 Conflict Support
Conflict is part of being in relationship, but many of us haven’t had the chance to practice moving through it with care. There aren’t many spaces where we can bring our conflicts and know that we will be supported, listened to and held in our full complexity. This is why we offer one-on-one conflict and repair support sessions for people and groups navigating conflict, harm, or breakdowns in trust. We root this work in restorative and transformative justice values. We believe that -
No one is disposable.
Accountability and repair are possible, even when they are difficult.
Conflict carries not just personal pain, but also histories, identities and systems that shape how harm is felt and responded to.
Dignity, care and community support can guide us through even the hardest places between us.
Offering relational conflict support is one way we live these values. It’s a space to feel heard and be witnessed, and explore what could be possible in the midst of difficulty. An AJ facilitator will meet you where you are, while helping you reflect on what you’re carrying and connect you with resources or pathways for repair.

What can AJ Conflict Support assist with?
We can support you in:
Making sense of a conflict you’re in and what’s at stake for you.
Exploring what accountability could look like in your situation.
Thinking through possibilities for repair or closure.
Resourcing yourself if you are holding harm or difficulty.
Thinking together about options for next steps and identifying what support you may need.
What does a session look like?
Sessions are usually 60 minutes and are held online
A facilitator from AJ will hold space with you to reflect, explore and plan next steps.
We do not tell you what to do, we support you in finding what feels possible and aligned.
What this space is not:
We want to be clear that:
We are not a crisis intervention or emergency service.
This is not therapy - while our work can be deeply healing, it is not clinical or diagnostic.
How contributions work:
We want this support to be accessible.
Your first call is always free. This is a chance for us to meet, for you to share what’s happening and for us to feel into whether this is the right kind of space for you.
If you’d like to continue, we use a sliding scale contribution model, you choose what feels possible and fair for your circumstances.
No one will be turned away because of lack of funds.
Who holds these sessions?
Sessions are facilitated by Dee or Nishma, members of the Alternative Justice collective. We are practitioners of restorative and transformative justice, community accountability, and conflict support, with years of experience accompanying people through difficulty.
