A 4-week descent into the slow, relational work of staying human inside systems that fragment us

Dates: September 20, September 27, October 4, October 11
Time: 10 am – 1 pm IST
Location: Online (Zoom)
Group size: 6 participants
Fee: Sliding scale
This is a small, slow group for six people, gathering over four Saturdays. We’ll turn inwards to the places in us that conflict touches. The parts that defend, collapse, protect or disappear. The parts that hold grief, fear, memory and longing. We’ll move gently, and together through what we’ve inherited, what systems have shaped in us, and what it might mean to meet conflict without turning away from ourselves.
This offering is grounded in the values of restorative and transformative justice.
We come not to rise above conflict, but to sit in the belly of it. To turn towards the parts of us that never learned they were allowed to stay.
Who is this for?
For anyone who wants to understand their own responses in conflict more deeply
For those carrying stories of rupture they haven’t had space to tend to.
For those longing for more honesty, more spaciousness, more capacity to stay.
What you bring to this space will be held with care and confidentiality. Between sessions, there will be small practices and check-ins to help carry the work into daily life.
What we’ll move through together:
Week 1: Arriving
We’ll begin by grounding in awe and wonder, remembering what sustains us as we face what’s difficult. Through community-building and collective ritual, we’ll get to know one another, co-create our values and guidelines, and name how conflict is alive in our lives right now. We’ll also begin weaving the altar that will hold us through the weeks ahead.
Week 2: Mapping Where Conflict Lives in Us
This week invites us to listen closely to the signals our bodies send us in and around conflict, the ways our breath, posture and energy shift when we're in the midst of conflict. Through embodied mapping and guided practices, we’ll start to see our conflict patterns more clearly and in a shared witnessing space, we will begin to honour them as protectors rather than flaws.
Week 3: Staying With the Mess
This week invites us to stay present with discomfort without needing to resolve it. We will practice being with contradictions, complexity, with layered truths and all the things that don't resolve neatly.
Week 4: Returning
We’ll close the series by noticing what tenderness, clarity or new capacities are emerging. We’ll imagine what it means to return to ourselves, our relationships and our communities with more spaciousness and honesty. We’ll weave together the threads of our time together and create a collective map of resources to carry forward.
